Our green ogre has become even more famous and will now be remembered forever. Madame Tussauds, England's famous celebrity wax museum, recently unveiled their latest wax figure; a seven-foot, huggable sculpture of our lovable monster, Shrek.

While Shrek joins the millions of celebrity wax sculptures, he is not just any ordinary Madam Tussauds wax figure. He is their most interactive figure ever built. He burps and cracks a lot of his famous Shrek jokes.

And what fun is Shrek without his dirty swamp and bog "toilet". Visitors will be delighted to find they can test the toilet (just for fun of course) right in the middle of Shrek's swamp. The toilet rattles, rumbles and then flushes, letting out a lovely pine scent. Also, unlike other Madam Tussauds figures, Shrek is very huggable, with a soft belly and all.

To keep Shrek company, there is also the Gingerbread man or Gingy. Just 9.5 inches tall, Gingy is the smallest figure ever built at Madam Tussauds.

Started by Marie Tussaud in 1835, Madam Tussauds is one of London's most popular tourist destinations. The gallery, which began as an exhibition of life-like wax figures of famous people now also has a number of interactive attractions. You can sing and dance on stage with Britney Spears and Beyonce (all wax of course) or, watch a dazzling show of Hollywood Stars. While there are now many Madame Tussauds offshoots all over the world, including one in Washington DC and New York City, the original one remains the biggest and most popular. Tourists sometimes have to wait as long as two hours to get in, and they all think it's well worth it. Also, since the exhibits are constantly changing, there is always something new to see and admire.
