Gibson, the world's tallest dog is  already a celebrity in America. He has appeared on various television talk shows, has his own book - "Gibson Talks", his own website - www.gibsondog.com and even his own tile on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  Now he is about to become a celebrity worldwide.

On Saturday, (March 15th), Firefly Film and Television Productions, a movie-documentary maker from London is flying down to Grass Valley, CA to film a one-hour documentary on this gigantic canine.

While no other "stars" are needed, there maybe some room for "extras' in the movie. The documentary makers are especially interested in watching Gibson interact with young kids - so if anyone of you have any acting aspirations and like big dogs - here is your chance to tinsel town.

Gibson, a Harlequin Great Dane, is nearly 3 1/2 feet tall at the shoulder and more than 7 feet tall when he stands on his hind legs (taller than most NBA basketball players). He is about 7-years old and loves to play basketball and be a Therapy dog (visits sick and old people) during his free time.

Harlequin Danes, also called 'Gentle Giants' are known for their gentle personalities and are the tallest dog breed in the world. Most average between 30-40 inches in height-Gibson of course is a lot taller.
