Walking With Dinosaurs - The Live Experience is an amazing 90-minute stage show depicting life-size prehistoric reptiles that roar and move like the real thing. The show, which began in Australia, is now coming to the end of a two-year stint in North America, where it has been playing to packed audiences. In case you missed it there are still some shows slated for San Diego, San Jose, Grand Rapids and Oklahoma City.

The show spans the entire 200-million year history of these magnifcent creatures who once ruled the Earth. Each dinosaur evolution is accompanied by the evolution of the Earth on a screen behind - from the time of Pangea when the Earth was one continent, to the separation of the Americas from Europe and Asia and the clashing of the Indian sub-continent with Asia, which led to the creation of the Himalayas.

The first half of the act is dedicated to the history of ten species of dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Plateosaurus, Stegosaurus and the largest of all Brachiosaurus, which measures 45 feet tall and 75 feet from nose to tail.

The second half of the show has more action that ends in a spectacular combat as T-Rex battles with an Ankylosaurus to protect her baby.

While the show is targeted for kids, ages 5-12, it is a lot of fun for parents too and the closest thing to experiencing what life would have been like 65 million years ago, when these mighty creatures roamed the Earth.
