Still looking for that perfect Christmas tree? We may have one that suits your fancy. While the $2million USD price tag is a little high, this tree is guaranteed to last you and your loved ones more than one lifetime.

As you may have guessed, this is no ordinary Christmas tree. Handcrafted from 24-carat gold, the tree is decorated with more than 240 jewels, including diamonds and pearls, which replace the traditional sparkling lights. It weighs in excess of 40 lbs and is currently on display at the Ginza Tanaka jewelery store in Osaka, Japan.

The jewelery shop is known for its stunning one-of-a-kind creations which include an $80,000 USD 24-carat gold swimsuit,(pic on the right), that was created using an ancient method of threading, dating back 1,300 years.

They also created a platinum version of a Gundam robot (left), a character from a very popular television series in Japan. The 12.5 centimeter tall robot, which sported a 0.15 carat diamond on his head, took two years to create and was priced at a whopping $250,000 USD.

Earlier this year, they also created a solid gold version of Mickey Mouse. Watch the video below for the unveiling of the gorgeous sculpture, which was not sold, but given away to a lucky Disney DVD purchaser.
