There must be something about the air around Belgaum, in the State of Karnataka, India - For the town has produced not one, but two limbo-skating champions, both under the age of ten.

First it was 6-year old Aniket Chindak, who glided his way into the record books by limbo skating under 81-parked cars in 53 seconds. This time around, it's 9-year old Rohan Ajit Kokane, who stunned the world by skimming under three parked vehicles - completely blindfolded!

Rohan started skating at the age of seven, after watching a local boy (Aniket maybe?) perform at a nearby skate park. Inspired, he begged his dad to buy him a pair of roller skates - However, his dad could only afford one skate!

That did not deter this ambitious boy, who started practicing at the park with his single, greatly prized possession. While here, he caught the eye of a coach who was so impressed by his determination and skill, that he decided to take the young boy under his wing.

The now nine year-old practices over four hours a day and is capable of flattening his body so that no part of it is over eight inches off the ground. He is also constantly trying new and unique challenges. In 2006, he attempted skating under bars, just six inches above the ground - going forward and in reverse!

This time, he decided to be the first one to try limbo skating blindfolded and succeeded! Besides being a great limbo-skater, Rohan is also a bright student. The young boy received his badge and certificate from the World Records Academy and been nominated for the Guinness Book of Records.

Limbo skating has become so popular in India, that it is now practised as an organized sport, with tournaments and all. Rohan's family is hoping that by the time he grows up, it will become an Olympic event - We hope so too!
