While the 'real' Kermit, rarely gets to venture beyond the realms of 'Sesame Street', this lucky puppet has traveled to over 14 countries and logged over 50,000 miles in the short time span of two years and this, . . . . . . is just the beginning of his travels.

32-year old Markus Morgenroth has been a fan of the green Muppet since he was a young boy. Two years ago, his wife Conny, bought him a Kermit Puppet and they decided to take him along on their travels and share all their adventures with him.

Since that fateful day, Kermit has been to the Coliseum in Rome , chowed down some yummy noodles in Singapore, looked for flies in the forests of Bali, Indonesia and even visited his own star at the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles .

He has danced along the riverbanks in Strasbourg, France, and gone wine tasting at the world-famous Napa Valley Vineyards in Northern California.

Of course like any traveler would tell you, it's not been all fun and games. Besides enduring the long flights, last year Kermit thought he may have even caught the dreaded 'Swine' Flu. Luckily, after a full check up and body x-ray, Kermit was declared 'fit as a fiddle' and given the green light to continue his travels.

Kermit, who just returned home after two months in Korea, Australia and the Fiji Islands is now relaxing for a few months before he takes off again, on yet another adventure.

Connie and Markus who love to travel, are hoping to take Kermit across all five continents, which will hopefully include a wildlife safari in Africa and a visit to his namesake city Kermit, in Texas.
