Today, I am going to teach you how to make the perfect omelette - A fluffy golden pancake that simply melts in your mouth and leaves you hungry for more!

OMELETTES

Ingredients

3 Eggs

1tbsp water

1tsp combination of any chopped fresh herbs (chives, parsley, basil)

1 tsp slightly softened butter

Filling

Chicken Apple Sausage & Swiss cheese (or whatever combinations you like)

Method

Combine the eggs, water, salt and herbs in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk or stir the mixture for about 30 seconds. Meanwhile, heat a 10-inch non-stick aluminum pan over medium-high heat. When the pan warms up, add butter and spread it all across. Turn heat to medium-low and pour the egg mixture into the center of the pan. Using a rubber spatula, stir quickly for about 5 seconds.

As soon as the eggs start to set, use the spatula to move the edge of the omelette tilting the pan, so that the eggs cook evenly. Let the omelette sit in the pan for 10 seconds without touching.

Top the fluffy eggs with your favorite fillings. My favorite is Chicken Apple Sausage and Swiss cheese, but bacon or sautéed vegetables with Cheddar cheese taste yummy too!

Shake pan to loosen the omelette. Using your spatula, fold over ½ of the omelette and slide it onto a plate. Serve immediately!
