July 4th, 2010 marks two fun events - the 234th birthday of The United States of America and, the 12th birthday of first daughter, Malia Obama. So how are they celebrating? While the details of the first are well publicized, the second celebration is one we can only speculate about.

Malia's day started pretty much like last year. The first family flew in from their summer retreat at Camp David last night, in time to host the annual July 4th party for the administration officials, military heroes and their families, and other guests. The celebration included a scrumptious barbeque, a concert that featured 2008 American Idol runner-up, David Archuleta and, some spectacular fireworks. We have a feeling somewhere in between, was a special cake dedicated to the first daughter.

However, while cake and fireworks were celebration enough when the Malia was younger, she now demands a slightly more special celebration. While we don't know what she will do, here is what her sister Sasha, did for her ninth birthday three weeks ago. She flew down to Los Angeles with her mother, grandmother and Malia where they attended an exciting Celtic/Lakers basketball finals game, visited the set of television show Zack and Cody to meet the stars and, dined at some the city's finest restaurants.

So, while we have no idea what Malia has planned, we somehow have the feeling that it will include something 'Glee' full!

Happy July 4th to all of you and a very Happy Birthday to Malia!
