Are you an aspiring scientist? Do you have an idea for a product or service that you believe may be the next big thing? Are you between 13-18 years of age? Then the folks at Google are looking for you!

Last week, the Internet giant launched the World's first online Science Fair that is open to kids from all across the globe. Simply think up of a killer idea - like how to power a rural village using natural resources or find an effective way to save the world's dying coral. Then conduct your experiments, write up your results and submit them for consideration.

Applications will be accepted until April 4th and grand prize winners will be selected from three age categories -13-14, 15-16 & 17-18. As you can imagine, the prizes are quite amazing and include a National Geographic sponsored trip to the Galapagos Island and an internship at Lego, CERN, Scientific American or Google itself. In addition to that, each grand prize winner will get a $50,000USD scholarship. Did someone say sweet?

There are also some real cool awards for the top three finalists in each category, as well as, a $10,000USD scholarship for the winner of the 'People's Choice Award'. To read about them in detail, click on www.google.com/events/sciencefair/prizes.
