Sydney, Australia

Thanks to its location, Australia is one of the first continents to welcome the New Year and the fireworks at the iconic Sydney Harbor are believed to be some the best and biggest in the world. This year was no exception. In what was dubbed as the largest celebration since 2000, the city burned through 7 tons of firecrackers to bring this spectacular display, which was enjoyed by 1.5 million revelers, some of who had camped out at the harbor, the entire day!

Hong Kong, China

Hundreds of thousands of partygoers gathered at the Victoria Harbor in Hong Kong to watch a spectacular five-minute display of fireworks that emanated from the tops of the city's ten most famous buildings.

London, England

More than 250,000 people gathered on the banks of River Thames in London, to watch an extraordinary display of lights and sounds shooting out from London's Giant Ferris Wheel, also known as, the London Eye.

Dubai, UAE

In Dubai, the firework display reached new heights - literally, as the developer of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, lit up the 160 foot tower with a ten-minute laser and fireworks show that brought out gasps of delight from the half-million plus spectators that had gathered to watch.

New York, USA

Thanks to some help from mother nature and some extremely hard working clean-up crews, the 20-inch snowstorm that had blanketed the city for days, was a distant memory to the million plus people who gathered to watch New York's world famous crystal ball drop and, the spectacular firework display that followed.
