'Goldilocks and the three bears' depicts a perfect bear family - complete with a papa bear, mama bear and a baby bear. However, in real life things are not quite as good. While mama bears normally stick around and raise their newborns, papa bears are notorious for abandoning their familes - The one exception? Balu, a brown male bear that resides at the Primorsky Zoo, in Eastern Russia.

It turns out that this proud dad can't get enough of his four-month old daughter, appropriately named Diva. He is constantly hugging her and has even been spotted blowing a raspberry on her stomach, while doting mother Masha, looks on. And, while he patiently waits on his little sweetie, when she is being fed, zoo director, Elena Aseidulina who captured these beautiful moments on camera, has often seen him pawing his wife to move it along, so that he can have his turn.

What's even more surprising to Elena, is that Balu has also taken on some of the traditional mummy bear roles, like teaching little Diva about the dangers of the world, as well as, learning to swim.

Elena says in all her years of observing wild animals, she has never seen such devotion and love from a papa bear - Little Diva is one lucky bear isn't she?
