Not exactly world class soccer - but fun anyway!
They may not be the next David Beckham or Mia Hamm, but these little robot soccer players are sure fun to watch. Last week 49 senior teams and 116 junior teams came together to compete in the regional Robocup Soccer Championships held in Hannover, Germany.
Chunky Monkeys!
No we are not talking about the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream flavor, but a serious issue facing officials at the Omaha Park in Osaka, Japan. Thanks to the incessant (constant) feeding of junk food by tourists, monkeys residing here have become obese.

Sunday, May 11, 2008 is Mother's Day; when mothers in most parts of the world are appreciated for all they do for their families. One Chinese Company is taking the celebrations to a new level, by printing what is believed to be the biggest photograph in the World - of a mother of course!
A sneak peak at the world's most expensive home
In most parts of the world a $2 billion U.S. Dollar house would be built in the middle of a sprawling estate, surrounded by lush greenery. At the very least it would at least have a decent playground!. However in Mumbai, India, a country where land is scarce, it means a 27-floor skyscraper, situated right in the middle of a busy downtown area.
The Formula One Technology Challenge
They are too young to compete in a Formula One (F1) race, but perfectly qualified to design and build a model F1 racecar. This week twenty-four teams of students ranging from 11-18 years of age, from across the world, gathered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to compete in the finals of the Formula One Technology Challenge.
500-year old treasure-filled shipwreck discovered
Imagine cruising along the coast of Africa, in a ship laden with gold coins, copper ingots (nuggets) and elephant tusks and armed with cannons to fight off enemies.This is the picture emerging from the artifacts in a 500-year old shipwreck found off the coast of Namibia, South Africa.

Who would have thought that someone would pay $960 U.S. Dollars for poop? Granted this is no ordinary poop - it's 130 years old and came from a dinosaur living in the Jurassic Era.
UNO - The world's first "unicycle" motorbike
This cool looking gizmo that looks like a unicycle is a prototype (sample) of a motorbike with two wheels - the two wheels are situated side-by-side instead of back-to-back. Invented by 18-year old Ben Gulak, the Uno is not only cool but also green - Its engine is powered by an electric motor.
