I consumed all 502 the finale to Percy Jackson's adventures in 3 1/2 hours. I could not put this book down. Such a great ending to a magnificent two series story. What happens? :) Well, no spoilers! ;)

The third book in this series by Jessica Day George, "Thursdays with the Crown" was a decent continuation. The first book, "The Castle on Tuesdays", is very exciting and the material is fresh, however in book 3 it seems to loose its originality. If you like medieval and magical stories, try out "Tuesdays with the Castle"!

Alright guys, I finished the book at around 12:06 last night. I was going to put it down at 11:00, then realized that I only had 100 pages left, so I was like: Pssh, sleep? That's for the weak! and finished it. I thought that many of the characters that people had formerly disregarded, (Jason, Piper, etc.), made great comebacks, and proved that they are not characters that should be undermined, and I was very happy about this, because to me, Jason is not an anti-Percy, and Piper is not an anti-Annabeth. They are their own individual people, and they can make their mark in battles. Nico and Renya DO have their own POV's in the book, and Rick did a great job of incorporating their thoughts as if they were part of the Seven all along. The last few hundred pages, are, of course, the best, but the very last pages, around 50 or so, have one of the greatest plot twists ever, and Rick carefully balances fan's emotions with writing something that we all knew would come. With a compelling beginning and middle, and a heart-wrenching ending, (I was crying), you won't be able to put the book down. Highly recommend for fourth grade and up!

"Rain Reign" is a sad but moving story. Ann M. Martin, the author is one of my favorite writers and all of her books are amazing. This one definitely didn't disappoint. Meet Rose Howard, a fifth-grader who is obsessed with homonyms, rules, and prime numbers. She lives in a small town with just her father and uncle, and suffers from sever autism. Due to her inability to interact well with other humans, her best friends is her dog, Rain, who her father found at the back of his pub one night. They live a quiet, content life, until a Hurricane Susan hits leaving total destruction in it's wake. Worst yet, Rain, her longtime companion is missing. But the hunt the finding her dog might lead to much more. The books starts out slow because the first part is mostly just background information, but after the hurricane hits it gets exciting so just stick with it. I have to admit the main character was a little annoying at first but she grows on you. Overall, it is a sweet story like "Out of my Mind" or "Wonder" that will leave you in tears.
