Witherwood is an imaginative, thrilling and slightly horrifying school. Another great thing about this book is the loveable protagonists, siblings Tobias and Charlotte. Something about this book that made it a slightly harder read for me was the style in which it's written, in simple form, though I know I would have loved it at a younger age. I would recommend this book to boys and girls of older elementary middle school age.

I had to read this book for summer reading. I thought that at first the book was a little boring but I feel in love with it by the end. I recommend this for ages 12 and up.

Though the original series and the ones that follow it seem to drag on endlessly, this book managed to capture my interest. It has lots of humor and adventure as well as mystery and action. Something about this book that I really liked is the diversity in characters looks and personalities. It's a great story that I'd recommend for both male and female teens and tweens.
