I loved this book! It is a great break from large novels and takes you out of the science fiction world and into Middle School, reality. The book starts with an average sixth grader entering middle school-but unlike most kids Rafe Katchadorian is dreading the school. He wants to make this year different. And the Rule Book makes Rafe start Operation R.A.F.E. The plan? To break all the rules in the book and make this year EPIC! Dead End In Norvelt by Jack Gantos was a thrilling story. It all starts when Jack Gantos gets grounded for the whole summer. He is forced to go to his neighbor's, Miss Volker, house and help her type up obituaries. But as old ladies start dropping like flies, an expected dull summer, turns into a thrilling mystery. Full of twists and turns, Jack Gantos bases the book off his own life. Anybody who is up for a breathtaking mystery should read this amazing book. I can't wait for the next book!

This book was one of the best I have read in a long time. The author does a great job of expressing every single detail especially when Lenny was in a human body. It it written in chapters with a different character talking in each chapter. It also taught you a little about human bodies with a lot of fiction mixed in.
