Cable Television Goes To The Dogs - No, Really!. But dogs have a flicker-fusion rate that allows them to see 60 to 70 images per second! People have a flicker-fusion rate of about 50 images per second. So if the images are projected at a speed suitable for our eyes to see, then the images put together to create the television program would (to a dog) flicker with black, look nothing like real life, and be painfully slow; like us seeing a person move very slow and jerky to perform an action, with pure black slides in between each jerk. Unless the footage was live... If anyone knows whay I am talking about, give me your address and I will fly to your house, whever you live, and buy you an ice cream cone, a deluxe pizza, and a dozen donuts.
