Between the Padres and the Chargers, San Diego has some great sports teams. However, neither have been able to do what the young boys from Chula Vista's Park View team - 'Blue Bombers',  just did - bring home the championship trophy!

Last weekend, 817 kids from Wrentham's baseball and softball team got together to play some ball - except this was no ordinary game but a 36-hour marathon that ended with never before seen triple digit innings and scores.

There is finally some hope for Bay Area baseball fans. On Tuesday, November 11th, 2008, San Francisco Giants ace Tim Lincecum was named the National League Cy Young Award winner, an honor bestowed to the best baseball pitcher in the National League - and this is just his first full year in the major league!
