With the dark months of the harsh Martian winter approaching, the five-month old Phoenix Lander mission is expected to come to an end soon. The decline of the Sun will mean less power to charge the Spacecraft's batteries, eventually causing it to die. But scientists are hoping that before it loses power completely, it will be able send back some final crucial data about the Red Planet.
