Passengers on this train have taken the term All Aboard, to a whole new level - And they are not doing it for a great photo opportunity either. All of them are actually going to hang on to their dear lives while the train chugs along and takes them to their destination, a few hundred miles away.

The photo was taken in Multan , the sixth-largest city in Pakistan and a key religious center for people practicing the Islamic religion in Southern Asia. The people hanging from doors, sitting on the roof of the train, and clinging to whatever they can find, including other humans, are all pilgrims trying to return home after a three-day religious festival called Dawat-e-Islami. The annual festival attracts thousands of people, who it seems take the same mode of transportation - All at the same time!

We have no idea how the driver can even see where he is heading, or how the ticket collector goes about checking if anybody has a ticket. But judging from the cheerful smiles and waves of the commuters it all seems to be working fine.
