The World's smallest man and the Woman with the World's tallest legs got together earlier this week at Trafalgar Square in London, to celebrate the launch of the 2009 Guinness Book of World Records, available in bookstores starting today.

20-year old He Ping Ping of China, who suffers from a form of dwarfism is only 29.37 inches tall, about half the size of just the legs of Svetlana Pankratova of Russia, which measure a whopping 51.96 inches. At his tallest, He Ping Ping barely reaches Svetlana's knees.

He Ping Ping may be small, but he has a larger then life personality and is really enjoying his newfound celebrity status and all the travel and fame it is bringing him. Svetlana, who at 6ft 4inches is not the World's tallest woman, likes having her exceptionally long legs, though she says it does make shopping for clothes a little difficult.

Other fun stuff that made it in this year's edition of World Records, includes a man who can tow a double decker bus with his ears, the smelliest bird, the first submersible sports car and lots of other great stuff. Also, the 2009 edition comes with 3-D glasses to view the twenty 3-D photographs in the book. For more information on the latest edition check out: http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/2009/
