Eighty years, after he was first introduced, our favorite honey-loving bear, Winnie the Pooh, is back with new adventures - and he and his friends haven't aged a bit!

Entitled Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, the new book continues with the adventures of Winnie, Christopher Robin and the rest of the friends, from where they left off in the first two books entitled Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner, published in 1926 and 1928 respectively.

The book, which will be available on October 5th, is being written by David Benedictus, who became closely acquainted with Pooh's previous adventures when he was asked to translate them into Audio Cd's. Though he will not reveal anything about the new book, he does promise it will be about a boy and his bear playing.

When British author Alan Alexander Milne, created Winnie the Pooh and his friends, all based on his son Christopher and his favorite stuffed animals (see pic above), he had no idea that his books would provide so much delight to thousands of kids all over the world, for so many generations.

However, it did leave a lot of his young fans wondering what happened to duo. Hopefully, this new sequel will help end the mystery.
