What began as a normal Saturday afternoon, ended up being one of the most bizarre days in the lives of the Utley family and their eight-month old chihuahua, Tinker Bell.

Just like they did every weekend, Lavern and Dorothy took their trailer to the DixieLand flea market in Waterford, Michigan and set up shop, to sell clothes, bedspreads and tools. As usual, Tinker Bell's leash was securely fastened to a cooler at the back of the trailer.

Suddenly at 2.30pm, a 70-mph gust of wind swept through the area, lifting not only all the goods, but also, poor Tinker Bell. Her owners watched in disbelief, as their beloved black and tan chihuahua that weighed a mere 5lbs, 'flew' away, high up in the skies, beyond reach.

For the next two days, the couple did everything they could, to find their little pooch. They set up a search party with 30 people, put up posters and even offered a reward. Their breakthrough finally came on Monday, while they were at a local radio station. A psychic, that specializes in finding lost animals, called in and told them exactly where to look for the chihuahua.

The elderly couple rushed to the hillside the psychic had mentioned - and voila - there was Tinker Bell. The poor little dog had flown over three lanes and landed in the woods, almost a mile away from the flea market. The hungry, tired and disheveled dog was as ecstatic to see his owners, as they were to see him - what an amazing story!
