29-Year old Wouter van den Bosch is not just famous in his home country of Netherlands, but all over the world - thanks to his rather unusual three wheeler - that would pass for a tricycle, except for the fact that the front wheel that is not just large but ginormous - Not surprising given that it is meant for a tractor.

Built from donated steel tubes, bicycle parts and a tractor tire, the contraption that weighs almost 900 lbs, took Mr. Bosch almost three months to build. The mechanical engineer turned artist says that he loves to build mechanical mutations - using things differently than the purpose they had been made for.

Since this was his last year as an art student, he decided to build something really radical - and the result has been even more than he hoped for! While he is not sure that the bike is even legal on the streets of Netherlands, he has taken it around the block a few times and witnessed some pretty stunned looks from people passing by.

What has amazed the young man though, is how popular the bike has become worldwide ever since he posted a video on YouTube. It has not only generated over 600,000 hits, but also, brought in offers from many museums and festivals that wish to showcase it as an exhibit.
