Video Of The Week - Giant Dishwasher Replica Douses Cape Town Residents

What would you do if you discovered a giant silver box standing in the middle of your town or city square? Would you go inside and investigate it or would you just stand outside and ponder over what it may be? That was the dilemma faced by the residents of Cape Town who happened to be at the city's Church Square, the week of May 18th.

As is usually the case, some brave souls decided to enter it at their own peril and experienced . . . exactly what your dishwasher does every single day! That's because the box was not an alien spaceship but an advertising stunt by The Viral Company to demonstrate Samsung's new dishwasher that features a revolutionary 'waterfall technology'! Given how hot the day was, most residents did not seem to mind being subjected to the surprise dousing.
