This is the hilarious follow-up to Caldecott Honor Book "No, David!". Winning the venerable award has clearly had no effect on David's behaviour as we follow him through an exuberant day of misbehaving at school. All ends happily however, with a turnaround in behaviour resulting in that most treasured of school awards: a gold star.
