Can frightful survive alone?

Sam Gribley has been told that it is illegal to harbor an endangered bird, so when his beloved falcon, Frightful, comes home, he has to let her go. But Frightful doesn’t know how to live alone in the wild. She can’t feed herself, mate, brood chicks, or migrate. Frightful struggles to survive and learns to enjoy her new freedom. But she feels a bond with Sam that can never be broken, and more than anything else, she wants to return to him.

I love JCG! Frightful is a falcon that was raised and trained by Sam Gribley, a boy who escaped New York City to live in the Catskill mountains. This part of the series is about how his falcon flew away, mated, made a nest on a shaking bridge, and migrated. Frightful struggled each day to survive and provide for herself. Will she make it till the end of her days or will the end come early?

It was my favorite book of Jean's series. I will read it again this summer!

Dizzy Pandas Dizzy Pandas

This book is the WORST! I had to read it for a school assignment, and it was pure awful! It was almost impossible to read just ONE chapter. Imagine a bird, that flies. BUT, they describe that bird in every possible way. That is how boring and repelling this book is. I could not finish it due to poor writing.

I WANT TO READ THIS

Let me tell you a part of it; Frightful met a mate of her own kind, two times, and had 6 chicks and out of those six, three got the DDT, and died. When it was migrating time, Frightful just didnt go. She stayed in her(And Sam's) mountain. Its a pretty good book.
