This adventure story is about a boy who lived in Norway because their parents had died in a car accident and her grandma lived with him. Her grandma told him stories about witches. He didn't believe them but her grandma said that they hated children and they wanted to kill them. They looked like nice beautiful ladies and they tricked everyone but they had know if they were witches. One afternoon he was working on the treehouse that he made with his friend and he saw a lady under the tree that was exactly like grandma described the witches. Could the witch eat him if she was a witch? What would happen?
I enjoyed this book because the author uses strange words and I didn't think the ending was going to be as it was. The story is full of intrigue and makes you want to keep on reading it.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes mystery stories and books with a bit of intrigue. It is for fourth graders and upper levels, too.
