I didn't like or dislike the book. It had to do with Yeti and I didn't really like that part of the story. Also, the book kind of a little too childish for me which I also didn't like. Overall, it was an ok book.

I loved this book. It had to do with baseball and I love a lot of sports. Derek Jeter is one of my favorite players. It is kind of like an autobiography and it shows his life in baseball. Overall, I loved the book, giving it a 5 star, and recommending it to any sports fans, baseball fans, and anyone like me who likes to read.

I didn't like the book. I don't like much magical books. Pip is a girl who can talk to magical creatures. Her aunt is a vet for magical creatures. And her new friend Tomas is allergic to most magical creatures. The book seemed a little too childish for me and I didn't like overall.

Ever since I was in first grade I always wanted to be a computer programmer in the computer/science field, so I would work hard and take many classes from my teachers to classes in my community center. As a coder, it's very intriguing to type in the amazing code such as python, html, and java. I really like experiencing different types of codes and to try them out, so i can work hard to pursue my career as I get older. Although I'm only a kid, I am very determined into becoming the best coder I can be. Honestly I hope I win this book and when I receive this book I will solve all the mystery/codes in all the books. After all, coding is amazing, which means this book will be amazing. For example, one line of code in C/C++ TO PRINT DogoBooks is awesome is: printf("DogoBooks is awesome!!!"); In Java it is: { public static void main(String[] args) { System.out.println("DogoBooks is awesome!!!"); } } Thank you dogo for having a freebie full of codes because codes are awesome and thank you for taking the time to read this. Please let me win!

Nancy Drew and Sherlock Holmes meets it's new hybrid... Introducing Friday Barnes with her infamous brown cardigans and silly hat (the youngest of five children, a kid-genius, and who might have a crush on the "Greek god" ... because who knows) solves so many mysteries and problems that it's hard to count! Who knew that once Friday Balmes... I mean Barnes would encounter a missing clock, discovering fake tans, having a pencil explosion, finding out teachers flirting with each other, being named as the scholarship kid, extracting a dog's poop (and no... I am not lying), looking for the yeti with Ian, counter smuggling unit (toilet paper rolls), and many more just by earning money from finding out who took the missing diamond(**cough* *cough* *someone's dad* *cough* *cough*)... This book is compacted with so many mysteries that tie in smoothly together... Because she is a genius you can't really expect her to be wrong... ever... because she is right all the time... Like seriously I should hire her to find out who took my red velvet cupcake... anyways did I mention Friday also found out who took Miss. Piddock's lemon tart... A twist with humor and mysteries ... it certainly goes well... Especially with the cool drawings gives the book a bit more "oomph" to it like adding sprinkles to a hot fudge sundae... And this is somewhat like a spoiler alert to get you ready is that there is sadly a cliffhanger at the end... And now I'm so mad because I have to wait until August 2016... So even though this book looks thick... don't judge it because it was a really quick read... And be ready to laugh a lot... Seriously the author is so creative with coming with the mysteries and the culprit, like it's not even funny anymore... Like I know for a fact that if Friday was alive, and I wanted to be a detective... I have no chance of being a detective... Like Friday is that smart and can even outsmart you! And I can't describe how awesome this book is... Like AHHHH... You just have to find out and read it yourself... Be ready to embrace the world of mysteries... So READ IT!!!

This books is awesome and usually I don't get books that make me stay up till midnight but this book right from the start has hooked me into the book. This author is a very clever writer of drawing your attention and making you keep thinking of what is going to happen next. This book has gave me a big laugh and also is a very cool mystery book. Usually mystery books start with a problem and ends with a solution but this book has multiple mysteries and multiple solutions leaving you with a thought of what will happen next in the next book. I thought the author did a really good job of writing this amazing book. The book is about this peculiar 11 year old girl named Friday Barnes who only gets to watch TV when her uncle is here. One day Friday and her Uncle were talking and Friday found out you can get a $50,000 reward if you find the imposter of the diamond. The next day, Friday does not go to school and goes to the bank instead to find out who stole the diamond and with evidence from surveillance cameras, she figures who it is. After receiving $50,000, she plans to go to the most expensive boarding school, Highcrest. She gets hit by a truck and gets hurt. She wakes up in a room with a teacher. Then, she goes back to her dorm room and find a girl name Melanie. She also meets a handsome/smart boy name Ian Wainscott who sabotages Friday for having a better IQ. After a while of solving crimes/mysteries of stolen homework, missing assignments, stolen clocks, and other mysteries, she has a reward from the Headmaster to find info of the Swamp Beast YETI!!! Then, Friday finds who it is and the accuses a teacher. Then at the end of the story the author does a surprising thing he leaves the book with a TO BE CONTINUED... of Friday being arrested by the police. The author just leaves you with a cliffhanger that makes you really mad but happy for the next sequel. Like I personally like and hate cliffhangers since they leave you thinking but you will have to wait a long time to know what really does happen. I thought this was a really really extremely AWESOME book and now this book has changed my FAVORITE BOOK and FAVORITE AUTHOR place to this Author and this Book Series. I mean will these 2 people (Ina and Friday) who are pretending to be enemies that are secretly in love with each other express a relationship? Will Friday get arrested? Will Ian and Friday stop being fake nemesis? I want to read the 2nd book so bad that I wish there were time machines and I can go to the future to read it. I give this book a 130% A++++ and a 10 star out of 5 stars. I recommend this book for and age of around 8-14 around the elementary school and middle school kid but I would also recommend this amazing, fabulous book to everyone from kids to teen to young adults to adults. This book will give you a great and amazing laugh and it will bring your spirit up. This book is for anyone who loves funny books (like me), who loves great, great mystery books (again like me), or who likes a very interesting story with a well thickened detailed plot (also like me). This is a great realistic fiction book and you will never forget this book. I will suggest you try to be like a Detective Hercule Poirot and try to solve the mysteries yourself before she solves it and who did the crime to have some fun while reading this book...Now find a cozy chair a bed to relax on and you shall start reading this fabulous amazing book, Friday Barnes, Girl Detective, By R. A. Spratt.
