Jinxed is such an amazing book. It follows the life of Lacey Chu, our main character. Lacey always wanted to get into this elite, prestigious academy so that she can be a worker for MONCHA the biggest tech firm in the world for bakes which are customizable pets with all the capabilities of a smartphone. After being rejected from the school promising her future, she stumbles upon a highly advanced cat shaped baku. After repairing it, she calls it Jinx and it helps her get into her dream school. Soon after becoming accustomed to school life, she finds out the dangerous secret behind Jinx, which forces her to choose between her baku and her future.Over 4 years agoselina added a book review.
Middle School Bites is a pretty funny book to read. Tom had a series of unfortunate bites the day before the first day of middle school that turned him into a part vampire, part werewolf and part zombie. At first, he hated being what he is because his bully, Tanner Gantt, would have another reason to bully him. In the end, things turned out better than expected and everyone in school loved him.Over 4 years agoselinais now following carebear0518.

The Beast is an amazing book. From inside jokes from Pokémon to the lovable characters, there is nothing that could make The Beast any better. I mean who wouldn't want to read a book about five kids trying to save their town from total destruction? I mean doesn't it kinda sound like Stephan King's It? I mean just like it the kids are working together to save their world from total annihilation . So go on ahead and read it. You won't be disappointed.Over 4 years agoselina has read this book.

I originally had to read this book as a summer assignment for a class, but once I opened it, I simply couldn't put it down. From the start, you're immersed in O'Brien's world. At the time, he's a young man with his whole life ahead of him, sent to fight in the war in Vietnam. Through each of his stories, you're able to paint a picture of everyone he knew, the ones they loved and the ones they lost. Perhaps one of the most accurate depictions of life as a war veteran and an eye-opening recollection on American values, 'The Things They Carried' will make you experience a wide range of emotions, all the while rejuvenating your inner sense of patriotism.Over 4 years ago
