I just watched this movie at my best friend's house. This movie was just amazing! Being in 7th grade, I have watched a ton of movies throughout my life, mine always being The Wizard of Oz. I'm sorry Dorothy, but Jaden Smith in After Earth... just wow. This movie is about a boy and his father who crash-land on Earth. Earth has been evacuated and now humans live in space. When they crash-land, the father breaks both of his legs and is about to die. The boy has to find a communication device that is about 10 kilometers away from their half of the plane. The boy must survive in conditions in which he never has before. On top of that, there is the dreaded URSA hunting him down. I'm not going to spoil the ending. This movie is almost better than the 1st Mean Girls. It takes place at the same school, but there are different mean girls. Hope you get to watch this movie if you already haven't.
