When I received Ronan Boyle and the Bridge of Riddes, it looked like a super fun and exciting book. It turned out to be just that! When Ronan Boyle's parents are put into jail, he is determined to do whatever he can to prove them innocent and get them out. So when he joins the Garda- the Irish police who deal with magical creatures, he decides to use the opportunity to learn all he can about the plot that put his parents in jail. Throughout the book, he goes on many fun and hilarious adventures as he tries to fit in and find his place in the Garda. Ronan Boyle and the Bridge of Riddles is such a fun and great read. Thomas Lennon did a great job writing an entertaining story and getting you so caught up in the book and the characters. I really enjoyed reading it and is definitely recommended!

hummingbird1's book review was featured in A Drop of Hope.
When I read the summary of A Drop of Hope, I thought it sounded interesting and wanted to read it. It ended up being a great read and was not disappointed by it at all. In Cliffs Donnelly, Ohio, legend says that there is a well that grants wishes. At a time when many people are struggling with their lives, they find themselves going to the well often. However, it is not always the well that does the work. Three kids- Ernest, Ryan, and Lizzy learn things about the well that no one else knows and are able to hear the wishes people make. Through kindness, friendship, and teamwork, they work together to make lives better for the people of Cliffs Donnelly and learn some important things about themselves along the way. A Drop of Hope is one of those books that make you feel happy inside. I would definitely recommend this book to others and hope you like it as much as I do!
