This story is about a boy whose parents died in a car crash so he lives with his granny who is a retired witchophile. One day the boy and his granny go for vacation to Bournemouth. In the hotel, the boy hides in a room where witches had gathered to receive a lecture from The Grand High Witch pretending to be normal ladies from a child charity. Soon the boy is discovered and before he knows he is not his old self.... What do you think that happened to the boy? Will he be able to work it out? If you want to know the answers, read this great book!
I enjoyed this book because Roald Dahl explains everything so you can actually imagine the whole thing going on in front of your eyes. Plus, by the time you finished reading this book you totally believe in witches, because they seem so real! My favorite part was the whole book because I loved it!!
This book is just right for advanced child readers who love books. You are not going to be able to put this book down, not even for a second!!
