I think this is the first classic book that I actually ENJOYED. I read the "kids" version for a book report in 3rd grade and really enjoyed it. The "full" version is even better. I liked how Jack London showed what BUCK thought at the moment since many other books hide the feelings of a dog. Overall, very fun to read. I'd recommend for Grades 5+

This book is a good book. It is probably in the future where families are different than you would expect. Our community compared to the community expressed in The Giver is different. There are different rules, different things, and their ceremonies/religious events are sort of different.

This is a really amazing book. It contains many mysterious and exciting mysteries. Not only are the mysteries mysterious, they also contain a lot of adventure and they are exciting. Throughout the stories, you learn things about the characters.

This was an interesting book that provided great insight into what it was like to be a slave. The description and details are vivid from the start of the journey to the end, and Sharon M. Draper has really allowed you to both empathize with characters and gasp at the horrors that face them.
