A boy who lives with his neglecting aunt and uncle discovers something about himself. Not only is he a wizard, he is also the boy who lived. On his journey in Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry, Harry makes some new friends: Hermione, an intelligent muggle-born, and Ron, a red-headed Weasley boy that completed the trio. He also befriends Hagrid, the gamekeeper of the school. During the school year, he learns that though the Dark Lord, Lord Voldemort, was defeated, he was trying to be reborn. A strange professor was the body that Voldemort chose to share and what Voldemort wanted was a stone that would make him live again.
