I love this series, I was instantly hooked! I watched the movies first (do NOT watch the movies before the books, they are nowhere near close to the books.) I thought the movies were OK and my friends suggested this series to me so I thought to myself "Why not?" So there I was finding myself staying up to the early hours of the morning reading this series. Without further ado, lets get on to the book review!
Percy Jackson has always lived a pretty quiet life in Manhattan with his mom and step dad. But, Percy always wondered to himself who his REAL dad was. That time has come. Percy finds himself in a camp of people who he doesn't know and apparently he is a demigod (A.K.A Half-blood) who has been sent to a camp of his kind. He finds himself being accused of stealing Zuse's lightning bolt, and he must embark on a dangerous quest along with Anabeth chase (Demigod) and Grover underwood (Satyr) in order to restore peace to the gods before its to late. To fulfill his quest Percy goes to the under world, a tacky casino and many other places! Will Percy succeed and find out who the lightning thief really is?
