Mercy Watson is dressed up as a princess for Halloween. She can't wait to get buttered toast. However, more troubles arise next door at the Lincoln Sisters' house. The thief is called Leroy Ninker, and he wants to be a cowboy. He ends up riding Mercy, and the noise wakes up the neighbors. They call for help, and Mercy is a hero once again. When the Watsons bed starts to sink through the roof, Mercy jumps off. The Watsons assume she is going off to get help, however Mercy has other plans. The neighbors get annoyed by Mercy, so they call for help. This leads to the people they called for help discovering that the Watsons bed is going through the roof. The Watsons assume that Mercy intentionally did that, however all she wanted were sugar cookies. Mercy is a hero. Overall, I think that this book was hilarious, and the illustrations were so funny. The Blood of Olympus is the last book in the Heroes of Olympus series. In this book, seven demigods will have to go against Gaia, the earth mother. They will have to stop Gaia before she sacrifices two demigods. I recommend this book to people who enjoy the Percy Jackson series, or enjoy the other books in the Heroes of Olympus series. Gregory (Greg) Heffley and his family are going on a road trip. Greg's mom got the idea from the family frolic magazine. However, Greg has other ideas and does not want to go on a road trip. Instead, he wants to spend his summer playing video games indoors. Mannie and Rodrick, Greg's brothers are annoying him. Overral, I thought this book was really funny and interesting, and it had great illustrations. I rate this book 5/5, and recommend it to people who enjoy books also written by Jeff Kinney, the author of this series.

Harry Potter thought he was an ordinary boy. His life changed when he got a letter from Hogwarts. His uncle and aunt would not let him read the letter, however they couldn't keep what he didn't know from him any longer. Hagrid eventually showed up to tell Harry the news himself. He was a wizard. At first, Harry thought this was some mistake, he couldn't have been a wizard. As the story goes on, Harry learns more about the other side of this life that had been kept from him the whole time. This book was really good, and I enjoyed reading it. This made me interested in reading the books after this in the Harry Potter series. I recommend this book to people who enjoy the Percy Jackson series, or the Hunger Games series. I rate this 5/5.
