Have you Ever Wondered what it feels like being the Best Man? Well in this book you know, Richard Peck the Author of The Best Man The Protagonist is Archer is dealing with a lot of issues is Grandpa dies in towards the end of the book and his His teacher Mr. Mcleod reveals he's gay after bullies write on a kids head GAY, Uncle Paul and his Teacher Mr. Mcleod get married and are Same Sex Marriage that's what the book is about him being the best man of his Uncle's Wedding. The Turning point in the Book is when Archer I recommend this book to People who are interested in gay marriage and people who like suspense I Like this book because it's really interesting and shocking especially when Grandpa dies and Mr. Mcleod and Uncle Paul get Married.

This month I read Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Long Haul by Jeff Kinney. It talks about how Greg's mom wants to go on a family vacation. But it isn't going well because they are not having as much family time as they thought. This was supposed to be a fun family vacation but it’s different for the Heffleys. The two major conflicts in the story are Greg and Rodrick just want to go home this summer and the second conflict is “Beardo’s Greg calls them, they disrupted greg sleeping at the motel. The setting of this book takes place in many places such as a town pool, motels, a country fair, and on the road . The protagonist is Greg and the antagonist is the Mother and the road. There isn’t really a turning point there’s just different problems and solution that just keep happening. Throughout the book some weird events happen. With his family and including himself. I would recommend this book to people who like hilarious books. Those are some reasons I recommend this book.

codbla1617's book review was featured in Rising Above: How 11 Athletes Overcame Challenges in Their Youth to Become Stars.
I relate to one of these people Tim Howard we both overcame living with Tourette Syndrome. My book is Rising Above How 11 Athletes Overcame Challenges in Their Youth to Become Stars by Gregory Zuckerman. My book took place all over Eastern Hemisphere it is from the 1940s to now. My book is focused on 11 athletes that overcame challenges as kids to get to where they are now. Some interesting facts are that Tim Howard was diagnosed with OCD and Tourette Syndrome. Jim Abbott was a pitcher in the MLB and he only had one arm. Stephen Curry was good at basketball but he was short and scrawny so no college wanted him. Dwyane Wade’s mother was a drug dealer and a drug addict. Dwyane Wade was really good at basketball but no college wanted him because he struggled academically. I would recommend this book to people who like sports and are struggling in their life but it is also for older readers.

tobthi1617's book review was featured in Percy Jackson's Greek Heroes.
A hero. A person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. In my book, Percy Jackson’s greek heroes (by Rick Riordan) it is all about the heroes in greek mythology. I have read three of the stories in this book, but for the sake of simplicity, I will be focusing on one, the story of Perseus. There are three major settings in this story, the kingdom of Argos, Seriphos, and the gorgons cave, the time in this story is anytime BC. The protagonist in this story is Perseus, a very strong child with a difficult task at hand. The antagonist in this story is Polydectes, a king that wants Perseus’ mom as his wife. The first conflict is when Polydectes tries to pursue Perseus’ mom. The second conflict is when Perseus was given the task to bring the head of medusa back to Polydectes. The turning point in this book is when Perseus arrives at the mouth of the Gorgon’s cave, sword in hand. This book is great because it has the action of the original greek myths, but the wittiness that Rick Riordan has always put in his books. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes mythology.
