Tom Gates is a boy who hated his teachers, Mr. Fullerman in particular. This book don't really have a main plot, but most of the book is about Tom talking about how awesome the school trip will be. Marcus and Tom are like enemies, Tom hated Marcus and Macus hated Tom. Tom's sister is called Delia and she is being really mean to Tom. My favorite part of the book is when Tom doodles of Mr. Fullerman in class. The drawings are hilarious. I really like the book it is funny and the font of this book makes you think that you are reading someones journal. I recommend this series to people who liked the Diary of a Wimpy series. It is very similar to it.

This book is about Greg's mother created a road trip for the summer without anyone knowing and surprising Greg's family. Even though the whole family didn't seem to be surprised at all, but they still went on the trip. A lot of events happen during the trip, most of them were very bad for the family. For the reader, they will think that this book is hilarious and with all the illustrations. My favorite character is the pig that Manny won at the festival. The pig cause a lot of trouble and basically ruined the trip.

Most of the things were very unlucky. In this book Rowley wasn't the same from other books in the series. Rowley use to be my favorite character, but in this book Rowley ditched his best friend for his girlfriend. I don't like people like that, just forget about people that stayed with you for such a long time and only hangout with someone you barely know. I personally think that this book is ok compared to the other books in the series. I recommend this book to people who don't really like to read and maybe the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series will change your mind reading.
