Hi!Im not a teenager but I can give some advice. I'm about to turn the age that is 2 years younger than 13. But I have older cousins that are teenagers and I give them advice all the time which always works. I would say you should just be yourself. Be the funny and talk more like you want to! If someone comments saying your just acting like a teenager. Laugh it off with a smile and say "Yup that's me! The coolest 8th grader around!" that should cheer you up and it should show the adults you like being silly and don't care about being told your just being a teenager. I think your cool!
