This fantasy book could possibly change you. Having an Eighth day? Amazing! But...only certain families and people get to live that day. And the descendants of Merlin are trapped inside that eighth day. Like, Evangeline. She can't leave the house she's put in. Why? Because people can use her powers in a horrible way. Like possibly...keeping the eighth day and removing all the other seven days. Which does mean, the regulars wouldn't be living anymore.

This, until his grandfather's death comes, and Jacob sees the monsters. Getting into therapy he was put to believe it was all his imagination. That until he visits the island were Miss Peregrine and the peculiars live. Finding a loop to the olden says. He now understands everything. Finding out why the kids have to stay hidden, and finding he could see the monsters...just like is grandfather could.
