Cute movie, but after a while it got a little annoying, now that it's been a few years, I really think it's a good movie. Some kids still find the songs annoying, but the story is quite heart-warming. It really feels like it came out yesterday, but whatever. Great animation, it is Disney after all. And so many beautiful scenes.

kittykat101's movie review was featured in Mary Poppins.
I love this movie. True, it is different from the book, but it is wonderful in it's own way. From Mary Poppins' magical umbrella, to Bert and his chalk drawings, a to Mr Banks at the bank, Mary Poppins is a fun-filled movie, with magical adventures that I can watch over and over without tiring. I think that the differences from the book give it a chance to be it's own thing. I love the bird lady, and Mary Poppins' sass as well as kindness and smarts. She's obviously not just a pretty face. Julie Andrews is one of my favorite actresses, and the role of Mary Poppins was played so well, that whenever I see another movie with Julie Andrews in it, I think of this one. Mary Poppins has definitely been my favorite since I was about... Say ten? With the music, the gorgeous scenes, and the fun characters I feel that if it is not already, this movie should be considered to some extent, a classic.

I watched the trilogy a little while back, and I loved it. *Goes up to mom* "Can I have a pet wookie?" "Uh...No?"

kittykat101's book review was featured in Mary Poppins Series (4 Book Series).
These books.. where do I start? I loved it! I got the entire series for Christmas, and finally finished...three years ago? When I was little I wanted to BE Mary Poppins. I mean seriously, who doesn't? This is one of my all-time favorites, and Travers really does a good job bringing the characters to life, to the point where you wouldn't be surprised to see them walking the streets or in your school.

kittykat101's book review was featured in Cinder.
I love how this story is a twist on the classic, Cinderella, with it's own special elements that made it an entirely different story, unlike some retelling that are out there, that just change, say, Cinderella into a cat or something. Adding the cyborg element, that separated her from the rest of society, placing the story in the future, and changing the world into an empire really twists the story into a whole new world, all while staying in our world. Meshing together romance, sci-fi, fantasy, and war into a single book makes it appeal to many different kinds of readers. Now I have to find the third book! :) (Cress)

I liked this book, but the graphic novel format made it a very quick read. Drama did a good job of showing the differences in people in a realistic and respectful way. I think that was one of the things I like most about it.
