The main character of this book is a very interesting and unique girl. I admire her in a way since she didn't feel the need to dress up or behave in a way most of her schoolmates did, she didn't really care how others thought of her. Though not everyone at her high school liked her very much she didn't care about them and only focused on her friends. In the story she would be my favourite character because of that. My least would be Leo because of how he expected her to become a normal girl. I enjoyed this book because it was seen in his point of view and we also got to read about his thoughts and ideas throughout it.

I've had some mixed feelings about this book, but it's not bad. Cooper, the main character, was suffering depression from an accident he was in during the summer, and after recovering he found out that he could see ghosts. I feel that the plot had a nice build on the tension and had some sort of tone that surprised me somewhat. The shifting perspectives was interesting since it normally doesn't happen in other books, and though I don't read books about magic often I think this one was pretty nice.

I find The Fault In Our Stars to be a very emotional and beautiful story about two cancer patients. Hazel never thought that she would meet someone that she would truly love since she did not believe in it until she met Augustus Waters. The story was beautiful because of the things they had done for each other, they helped each other through things and Hazel didn't seem to be so bothered by her cancer so much after meeting Augustus. The ending was unexpected since I did not see it coming, I never thought that would happen. I think this book is trying to tell us to cherish what we love because nothing lasts forever.

Being a person that really enjoys books about war, I really enjoyed reading this one. I loved how the author was able to describe the feelings of the characters, and I was almost always able to picture the scenes in my mind. Throughout the book I had learned a few more things about war and how dogs in war work, and many of the systems. I never knew how big a role the dogs played in war since they had to carry important messages from one company to another, and sometimes have to find missing groups. During certain parts I teared up slightly, that was how good this book is.

This book is about a boy whose family had been cursed with bad luck, and one day he had to go to a juvenile correction facility sort of like summer camp to dig holes all day. No one there really knows why they have to dig holes, but it's because the warden wants to find some sort of old treasure. Stanley met quite a few people at the camp and made a friend named Zero, together they had an adventure and changed their fate. I really do like this book because the author doesn't really sugar coat it too much in a nice way, and it's somewhat realistic. I'd definitely recommend it.
