Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief is a great book. I can relate to Percy Jackson. I am a good kid too, but have a hard time focusing on school and sometimes a hard time controlling my temper.
Three Times Lucky is filled with courage and determination. I loved when she sent another letter filled bottle into the water in hopes of finding her mother. I related to Dale a child who shows kindness and innocence even though life has thrown him a lot of curves already. This is a book of mystery, danger, but not to scary.
August always knew that he was different. He has learn to accept that people will stare at his face and there is nothing he can do about it. So August chooses to live life with the love and support of his family
I loved this fun and adventurous story. Hugo a 12 year old orphan, clock keeper, and thief has been keeping the clocks running in the walls of a busy Paris train station. His survival depends on secrecy, until he interlocks with a mysterious Toy Seller and his Goddaughter.
Catrina and her family move to California because Maya, her little sister, is sick with cystic fibrosis. A new neighbor lets the sisters in on a secret. There are ghosts in Bahia de la Luna. I can relate to adventures with siblings.
