I researched about the background of this book, and expectedly, the author herself is a dolphin rescuer. Furthermore, she understands the dolphin very much. In this book, she talks about the activism of saving dolphins and also shows the readers how smart the dolphins are and how they are even smarter than us. She also talks about why we should stop mistreating them. The most amazing thing is that they can even communicate with humans! The author describes them as the smartest creature except human on earth. Due to I wrote an essay about the mistreatment of dolphins, I began researching about books of dolphins. This was the second book that I found, but it was more interesting than the first book. I think that the author is completely correct. I like how this book uses a funny way to discuss the issue. It makes people feel joyful but also makes people take action on saving the animals. Go on and read this book! Enjoy the conversion between you and the dolphin ~ 🐬

michellek21's book review was featured in Nature Watch: Elephants.
Since I wrote an essay about the mistreatment of elephants, I want to learn more about them. Elephants are the largest and heaviest creatures on land. They weigh as much as 80 people! Two species of elephants exist today ---- the African elephant and the Asian elephant. They seem alike, but not identical. African elephants have bigger ears, longer legs, and a more slender body than Asian elephants. Moreover, most of the elephants have grey skins. However, some Asian elephants have pink patches of skin found on ears, trunk, and face. African elephants rarely have them. In Asia, usually, only males have visible tusks, whereas in Africa both male and female elephants normally have them. An elephant's tusks are its front teeth. The part that we see is just two-thirds of the tusks' total length, the rest is hidden in the skull. Elephants tend to be either right handed or left handed. The favorite one becomes more worn. African elephants dig for salt with their tusks. They loosen the soil with the sharp point. An elephant uses its trunk to breathe, eat, drink, pick things up, throw things, feel, smash, fight, play, squirt water, greet, and make sounds. Their powerful trunk had more than 100,000 muscles, which enable an elephant to lift large, heavy objects easily. The trunk of an African elephant has two fingers ar the tip, while the Asain elephant has only one. After I read this book, I truly think such animal should not be punished and mistreated by humans. Now that I know more about them, I can take action to save them from getting extinct. Also, if you are interested in saving elephants, you can also read this book to learn about their cool life in nature!

sandyc's book review was featured in The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
Edward Tulane a special rabbit, being custom-made for 10-year-old Abilene Tulane by her grandmother Pellegrina. One day while going to family trips, Edward got lost beside a beach. Luckly, a fisherman and his wife found Edward, and decided to take him home. In the home of the fisherman and his wife, Although Edward was "connected" with them, he still ends up in a garbage dump. From there he is rescued by a tramp named Bull and his dog Lucy. Entering a life of great adventure he learns to enjoy the songs and stories. And so he listened. And in his listening, his heart opened wide and then wider still. After many years with Bull and Lucy, a little boy assume that Edward is just what his sick four-year-old sister needs. Sara Ruth, her little sister, makes Edward realize he has a heart because it breaks when she dies. Bryce, Sara Ruth's brother, proves to be one of the most tender of characters when he turns Edward's broken body over to a doll maker after the rabbits' head has been shattered. Will he keep the broken rabbit, or let it be restored to make another child happy? Bryce's sacrifice, in the face of his grief over his sister, is very touching. Finally, in the shop of the doll maker, Edward is unexpectedly discovered by someone who has always loved him. This story is talking about how only a rabbit doll can have love, and we should all love things surrounding us.

The twin brother, Sandy and Dennys, are the most "normal" members of the Murry family. Their big sister, has power to time travel, meanwhile, their young brother is a super genius. But of course, their parents are both crazy scientist. They usually don't pay much attention to their parent's theory, and try to not believe those ridiculous things. But, one day, an accident of touching "progress" computer, change their belief. Somehow, it took them to a oasis, the time when Earth is still very young. What's worse, not knowing how to come back to home, might die and suffer from the up coming "disaster"! This book teaches me that, never touch anything important or in progress, that belongs to your parents. Even is you are just curious, like Sandy and Dennys, might leads you to a serious problem.

Jem, is fifteen years old and met a young named Terry, who has a nickname as Spider. Jem initially tries to stay away from Spider although he is one of his true friends. The reason why she avoids contacting with her is because she sees numbers associated with every person when her eyes meets their eyes. These numbers shows the date, the month and the year of that person's death. Jem knows that Spider is going to die in just a few months (after her mother's death). On the other hand, Spider invites Jem to his house, and Jem eventually met his grandmother, the only family member Spider has, and she can see auras and immediately recognized Jem as a kindred spirit, though she doesn't initially realize the depth of Jem's gift. She saw special auras around Jem, and was surprised. Jem and Spider begin spending a great deal of time together after Jem went to spiders house, and became couples afterwards. One day, she and Spider both got into trouble, and decided to run away from home. They visited an amusement park with a huge Ferris wheel, which is the London Eye. While they are having lots of fun, Jem soon saw that all the people there have the same number. She knows that these people would die because of something happening in the park. She and Spider ran away, and after they ran away, a bomb exploded and killed a great deal of people. Unfortunately, some of the people remember Jem and Spider running away before the explosion, So they are chase by the polices. After Spider saved Jem, who tried to suicide because she thinks that people having numbers are all her fault, since she is the only one who can see it. After Spider got released, and died, their son grew up, and appears to see numbers like his mother... I am so excited for the second book! And based on the ending of this book, saying that the boy can also see numbers, I think that the second book would be based on the boy. I am also looking foward to the third book.
