This book is about a little boy named Oscar who is trying to survive in a fire, as many people know, the Great Chicago Fire.of 1871. The story line as for someone stealing Oscar's luggage, is revealed to be an orphan raising her brother, just 2 years old, as they are fighting for their lives. I found a connection because of the suspense and fear and how it relates to the real world. There are some scary things out there, but this is probably one of the highest ones. I rate this book four stars because I don't like reading about people being so scared out of their minds that if something goes wrong, everyone dies.
A huge flying contraption is just about to crash and Hugo Ballard, just 11 years old, is a dream that just came true with his mom, dad, and sister, Gertie, at 4 years old. They are making a 4000 mile trip across the Atlantic Ocean on a zeppelin called the Hindenburg. I connected with this book because It shows a lot of adventure and excitement, with something so horrifying as this, and I am always like that with scary things. I turn every scary situation into a little bit more calm and lade back situation. I rate this book 5 stars because of the excitement and suspension that it gave me.
I thought this book was obviously to inform you about Albert Einstein's life, but it was also very entertaining and enjoyable. This book is about how Albert's life exceeded. He was a shy one, but a huge intelligence span. He became famous in physics, and is now famous all around the world. I relate to this book because I am on the shyer end, and I enjoy physics. It is interesting to me and I would love to read another book about him. I rate it 5 stars because I enjoyed all the facts I got to learn about him and his life overtime.
I really thought this book is very cute and heartwarming, and it shows sometimes that life needs to have t was adventures. I was great to have someone by your side to help you through hard times, and that is what one of Shelby's siblings did for her. It was also very entertaining to read especially knowing that she was a movie star. I think that made the book worth reading it a little more. I rate it 5 stars for the feeling and the love in this book.
I didn't really love this book because it didn't give me a lot of information about the actual titanic sinking and more of an idea of what actually happened. Don't get me wrong, the concept and how they put it together was great, but it didn't really give me the feeling of being with the book. That is why I am only giving it three stars.
