This book is much shorter than the first and is a bit easier to understand because of the familiarity achieved by reading Watership Down. The basis of this book explains the process of creating a new warren and learning more about rabbit myths heard in the first book.

This movie is a favorite for my whole family. Russell the humorous boy scout is unforgettable and seems clueless but childish. He is my favorite character beside Dug the talking dog, and Mr. Frederickson. I love the part when Charles Muntz (the bad guy) says "any last words Fredrickson?" And Mr. Frederickson spits out his dentures.
