Just looking at this book makes my heart pound, it is the National Geographic Kids Almanac 2022!!! I am so excited about this book, and if I win it, I will be sure to share fun facts with my friends and family to cheer them up during this hard pandemic! It would mean the world to me. ''None of us are free until we are all free. And we weren’t free on the Fourth of July in 1776.'' Sorry, but July 4th is a celebration for OUR country, not specific individuals. Not once did I ever think July 4th and ''Juneteenth'' were correlated, since I thought we made it clear that July 4th is the day America gained independence from Great Britain, not slavery. I honestly though just think that Juneteenth is a constant woeful reminder of a time many Americans wish were forgotten about, we don't need to go back there constantly.
