12-year-old Alice has a hard time making friends. Maybe it's because she works in a funeral home and receives messages from the dead.   While the kids at school taunt her and call her “Alice in Zombieland," Alice England finds refuge at her father’s funeral home, where the dead tell her stories. As she arranges the deceased’s personal mementos, an item will hum with meaning–resonance–and Alice will see the story of their life.

By Lemony Snicket

Wow. This book was amazingly written. These stories r so interesting that I finish these books and only an hour! It keeps making the readers wanting more and more. Luckily there r so many more books for me to read in this series! Ok so this book is abt how Violet (the inventor age 14) Klaus (the reader age 12) and Sunny ( the bitter age..baby..?) move into a new home. After what count Olaf did to them at their old home,Mr. Poe, that has been finding new guardians for them, found their uncle Monty. His name is Montgomery Montgomery. But the kids call him uncle Monty because he doesn't like his name. He is a snake scientist and he has an entire room full of adventurous snakes. When the kids moved in,they settled very quickly, bc their uncle Monty is so kind and thoughtful. Until Monty hires a new assistant, but little did he know it was Count Olaf in disguise as Stephano! Count Olaf tried everything to take the kids, even trying to take them to peru! After his plans never seam to work, olaf gets two needles together, adds poisonous deadly snake venom, and kills uncle monty. The kids know it was him,but bc the needles look like snake bits, they have no proof. Instead, they r sitting there crying abt there uncle Monty, and thinking abt the lasts moments they had together. What happens next is crazy, but I don't want to spoil it so read this one to find out! Love this book I totally recommend it! 5 stars

OMG. This book is literally amazing. I read all the books, watched the movie, and the show. The books have so much detail and so interesting. This book is abt 3 kid who's parents r rich. One-day the kids parents died and violet the eldest gets to have their fortune when she comes of age. She has a brother Klaus and a sister sunny. They move in a house with their new guardian Count Olaf. He is a literal rat lol and he makes them do chores and feed his troupe. He trys to marry violet to steal their fortune. All he wants is their fortune and he will do WHATEVER it takes to get it. Even if it means killing a new guardian that takes them in....but u will have to read part two to find out. Ik I haven't been on the website for a few years but I 100% recommend this book to teens that love mysterious books. This is very good I rate all the books and show and movie 5 stars. Go read rn!

The Bad Guys in Alien vs Bad Guys (The Bad Guys #6)

The Bad Guys in Alien vs Bad Guys (The Bad Guys #6)

By Aaron Blabey

I loved Bad Guys because It was really funny and it taught some really good life lessons including being a good book for kids that are ages 7+ because of a lot of yelling but its still a good read aloud book for younger kids. I really hope everyone will enjoy this book like I did. Some following good things about it: Its a awesome way to show kids how to read and look forward to each chapter or page. And its also pretty interesting because of all the animals and more. Kids can pick all different voices for each character! Enjoy!

Walk Two Moons

Walk Two Moons

By Sharon Creech

First, I should introduce the main character, Salamanca Tree Hiddle, better known as Sal, who has the pack her bags and move to Ohio. She leaves her farm in Bybanks, a fictional small town in Kentucky, and travels to Euclid, which not only is a real place, it is the birthplace of the author. But that was a year ago, and in the present, she is in the car with her two grandparents, who are driving her all the way to Lewiston, Idaho, where her mother is. As they're driving, Sal tells a story that happened to her when she first moved to Euclid. It concerns a strange girl named Phoebe Winterbottom, a mysterious young man, and has quite a few surprising twists... As the book unfolds, more and more details about Sal's past are revealed. This book alternates, with Sal revealing more of her story, and strange things happening to her grandparents. All in all, there were a few key details that could either make you enjoy it or ruin it for you. There's the whole thing about having a story behind another story, as Sal puts it, and the whole other thing about some things being unclear and potentially confusing until later. Then there are the two weird grandparents and Sal, Gramps, and Gram's weird rural way of speaking. For me, the whole idea of having two stories worked out in the end, and I liked the eccentric habits of her grandparents, but I could see why some people would be a little confused. Additionally, the idea of traveling across the US and going to all these small towns was cool, too. I enjoyed how it had a fair amount of humor, and was mostly very engaging and drew me in from the first chapter. If you like somewhat old-fashioned realistic fiction, like some of Kate DiCamillo's stories, you'll like it too. You might even have a "gol-dang" time, as Gramps puts it.
