How would you spend five million dollars in 30 days? A billionaire's wallet, a bizarre challenge, and an unlikely friendship send two kids on a wild adventure. From the author of The Miscalculations of Lightning Girl.

Felix Rannells and Benji Porter were never supposed to be field-trip partners. Felix is a rule follower. Benji is a rule bender. They're not friends. And they don't have anything to talk about. Until . . .

They find a wallet. A wallet that belongs to tech billionaire Laura Friendly. They're totally going to return it-but not before Benji "borrows" twenty dollars to buy hot dogs. Because twenty dollars is like a penny to a billionaire, right?

But a penny has value. A penny doubled every day for thirty days is $5,368,709.12! So that's exactly how much money Laura Friendly challenges Felix and Benji to spend. They have thirty days. They can't tell anyone. And there are LOTS of other rules. But if they succeed, they each get ten million dollars to spend however they want.

Challenge accepted! They rent cool cars, go to Disney World, buy pizza for the whole school-and that's just the beginning! But money can't buy everything or fix every problem. And spending it isn't always as easy and fun as they thought it would be. . . .

As smart as it is entertaining, Millionaires for the Month is a thought-provoking story about friendship, privilege, and the value of a penny.

Millionaires for the month is a VERY good book! (small spoiler) The two boys seem to just borrow a 20 dollar bill and not thinking of anything but then Laura Friendly, who is...by the way, not so friendly gets her wallet back shes notices the money missing which is pretty weird considers she has BILLIONS, She does a small challenge for a month, where she gives the two boys a penny but it doubles everyday! Which ends up leading up to around 5 MILLION DOLLARS, but I really like that no matter what, they used their money in a good and non greedy way, like to sort of help out their families. I give this a 5 out 5 stars!!

Millionaires for the Month by Stacy McAnultynis one of my favorite books. The book is about two boys Felix and Benji who are opposite of each other. They both knew each other existed but never bothered to say hi until they find a wallet that belongs to a millionaire Laura Friendly. They were going to return the wallet but not before they borrowed twenty dollars to buy lunch because twenty dollars is like a penny to her, right? But when they return the wallet she finds out that her twenty-dollar bill is gone because she always carries one around. And then Felix and Benji say that twenty dollars are nothing to you so she gives them the challenge to spend a penny doubled every day. Which adds up to $5,368,709.12 in thirty days. But there are a lot of rules like no buying houses or other investments. No buying gifts for people. No telling ANYONE about the challenge. But if they can follow all of these rules and spend all of that money in thirty days. Then Felix and Benji get a prize of 10 million dollars to spend however they want. I recommend the book to anyone who loves to spend money, is 4th through 6th grade. And for anyone who is up for a fun, exciting, awesome adventure.

“Millionaires For the Month” by Stacey McAnulty is about two boys, their names are Felix and Benji, Felix is a rule follower and Benji is a rule bender. They both knew each other existed but never bothered to say hi until… They find a wallet that belongs to a millionaire Laura Friendly They were going to return the wallet but not before they borrow twenty dollars to buy lunch because twenty dollars is like a penny. But when they return the wallet she finds out that her twenty-dollar bill is gone because she always carries one around. And then Felix and Banji say that twenty dollars are nothing to you so she gives them the challenge to spend a penny doubled every day. Which adds up to be $5,368,709.12 in thirty days. But if you can follow all of these rules and spend all of that money in thirty days. Then Felix and Benji get a prize of 10 million dollars to spend however they want. I would recommend this book because its a little bit more on the funnier side but, it is a little bit of a bigger book so I would recommend the age group 4th -6th grade the one thing I did not really like is that it is kind of the same thing once you get to the middle of the book like there always just buying things and more and more things and it gets kind of boring. I also did not get that feeling that I didn’t want to stop.

I haven't read this book, but I hope it comes to my local library so I can read it. It sounds so cool!

What would you do with $5,368,709.12? It all started with a wallet and two unlikely friends... Benji Porter and Felix Rannels are the opposite of each other. So when they get put together for a field trip, it doesn't go as expected. Benji finds a wallet that belongs to a billionaire and uses $20 to buy lunch. The billionaire finds them and offers them a college tuition or $5,368,709.12. The boys pick the five million dollars, but there are some catches. No buying presents for anyone, no houses, no vehicles, they can't tell anyone. Oh yeah, they also have to spend the money in 30 days. If they do- they each get ten million dollars. Stacy Mcnulty does it once again, combing friendship with adventure, making the reader stay up late to finish the book. I highly recommend the book!
