Pete Watson is a video game nerd or geek or whatever u want to call it. So one day while his dad and mom are at his dad's company softball tournament Pete decides to sneak out and get the new Brawl-A-Thon 3000 but when he gets to the money he realizes that his mom borrowed $20 for him. Mad that he can't buy his game Pete decides to have a garage sale. While selling, a bug exterminator want's to buy his dad's old Commandroid 85 Arcade system. Little does Pete know that selling this the console will change the events of the world.!! A Kajllion times worse!!!! (totally legit number) If you like Diary of a Wimpy Kid you would love this book and the other books from diary of wimpy kid really funny as much as big nate piz read and have fun i mean like this book is really fun and i have not read it Line 2 Pete Watson is a video-game master who has the most normal family. Or so he thinks. When Pete finds out that not only is his dad a spy, but he was also trapped in a video game for evil purposes, it is up to Pete and his friends to solve the mystery. But can they crack the case before it's too late? This book was pretty good

Cool!I love diary of the wimpy kid so i think i will enjoy this and so will my brother
Pete Watson has been saving up to buy the new video game, the Brawl-A-Thon 3000, but the morning of the release, he discovers that his mom has taken $20 from his money jar! Determined to buy the game without his parents' knowledge, he hosts a garage sale. At that garage sale, he encounters a man whom he calls "Bug Man," and sells Bug Man his dad's old video game console, the Commandroid 85 Video Arcade System. Soon after Pete's dad is kidnapped, he finds himself trying to save the world with his seventeen-year-old crush and his rubber-band-twanging best friend. Personally, i didn't really like this book. i feel like it should be aimed for kids younger than the age range (9-12) because there's not much of a story. you can't really feel the whole "saving the world" vibe deeply, but you might have your own opinion.

You don't have to be advanced at reading. Being an "advance reviewer" means you get book in advance, before they come out. Anyone who likes reading can become one. You should email the editor and after you have parent permission they will send you books. You get to keep the books, but you must write a review on dogonews. I really like your reviews maybe you should become one!
